I absolutely loved my stay here, especially the friendly staff and the beautiful rooms which truly reflect the charm of the city. just behind the bustling Avenida Liberdade, Parque Eduardo VII is only a short stroll away for a lovely green escape, and the lively Time Out Market, where you can sample delicious local cuisines, is almost 2 km from the hotel, making it perfect for weekend explorations.

The complimentary port in the room and the friendly staff truly enhance the experience. Breakfast offered a variety of options, satisfying both hot and cold preferences. However, an unfortunate delay in room service due to kitchen issues and inadequate communication slightly marred the experience, despite the management's efforts to rectify it by not charging us for it.

Spacious Double or Twin Room featured period furniture and a stellar 7ft wide bed, perfect for lounging after a day out. The bathroom had high-quality Milton Brown toiletries and an impressive shower. There was a complimentary decanter of port refilled daily.

Additionally, there’s no separate shower. it’s a shower over the bathtub, which might be less convenient. A touch of vintage music during breakfast could lighten the atmosphere, as a few guests felt it was too quiet, making conversations feel whispered.

The charming Art Deco decor made me feel like a classy Hollywood starlet. The hotel's quiet location, just off Avenida, was easy to navigate, making our sightseeing days delightful for a senior like me.
